The area in front of the access door was completely blocked by contractors vehicles with wire fence and orange tape. After making enquires it was ascertained this was the access to apartment, on entering with our bags we had to make our way through dust construction debris and 8-10 workman carrying bucket loads of construction material which they were emptying on their truck parked outside the apartment...

"Lovely apartment in the heart of Trieste. Near a Catholic Church and plenty of dining and shopping areas. Fabrizio and Rosaria were extremely helpful with info on the area, helped us check in, and helped my husband find the garage and park the car."

There was not much space, especially with teenage kids - but who wants to be at home if you can hang out in the cool bars, restaurants or cafés! The appartment is right across the tourist hot spots and we just fell into pizza and pasta, fantastic. Marta, our host, was very friendly, relaxed and gave us many great advices for our week in Triest. Thanks a lot and we would love to come...
