Wake up to Pelicans cruising the beach!

Pelican View apartments offer unrivalled beach access and a truly unique and tranquil way to experience Providenciales. Located in Blue Hills you’ll quickly be lulled into the local rhythm of island life as you sit on your 2nd floor terrace (Apt #3) enjoying the spectacular views and listening to the waves crashing on shore.

From Blue Hills it’s an easy 15 minute drive east to the heart of the tourist mecca of Grace Bay; if you travel west you’ll find the best national parks and nature reserves that Turks & Caicos has to offer, often overlooked gems in this island paradise.

This 2-bed, 1-ba apartment is comfortably appointed with true up-cycled charm. Peppered throughout are some treasured vintage pieces to make it feel like your home away from home.

Apt. # 3 is on the second level of my building, accessed via a short flight of stairs. It has huge windows in the living area so whether you’re inside or out you’ll see the turquoise waters beckoning! Pls note the terrace is also used to access my other unit (#4).

There are two bright bedrooms and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The generous open-plan living space opens onto the terrace where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views. There is a terrific breeze coming off the ocean almost year-round but for those extra hot days the bedrooms each have ceiling fans and window AC units, the living area has a ceiling fan and a mini-split AC unit.

The apartment comes equipped with beach chairs, beach shade and a cooler. There are 2 kayaks available for use (shared with the other 3 short-term rental units in the apartment block) equipped with seat pads and paddles but no PFDs, so please be careful.

There is no washer or dryer in the unit but I’m happy to do your laundry for you during your stay. I’m 10 mins away, so close by if you need anything.

The neighbors have a friendly shaggy dog who patrols the property, and there is a family of hens and a rooster who live on the back wall of the garden. If you are afraid of dogs or chickens this is not the place for you!

Elizabeth, the host, was great. She owns but doesnt live on the property. This is outside the busy Grace Bay and pretty centralized. We were about 20 minutes from everything. The place was very clean...and had all our necessary amenities, including a blender, which we were very happy about. Also 4 beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, sunshade and cooler were available for us. We stayed 2 weeks and were offered clean sheets and towels etc...which has never happened at previous rentals for us. Overall for the price point we were very happy with our stay and would return.

Apartment was very clean, and the location was excellent for us. Out of the hustle and bustle, yet everything we needed was near by. The restaurant/bar (Mary’s Kitchen) across the road had very good food and was probably the cheapest on the island. The bar closed at nine so no loud noise at night. There are several other restaurants near by and several grocery stores. Some in walking distance others a short drive. Renting a car is pretty much a must, but getting around the island is pretty easy. Will definitely stay there if in the area again.

Great little spot!!

We loved the clean open airy place with a nice little walk up open air bar/eatery across the street. no one else on the beach or in the water besides us. it was such a treat to enjoy this wonderful place as a family of 3. Thank you!!

Clean and lovely accommodation

This was exactly what I was looking for! It was clean, had all the essentials and was close enough to do touristy things but with a more authentic feel since it wasn’t in the main touristy area. I’d recommend renting a car to explore the island but the apartment is within walking distance to convenience stores and a few restaurants. We went to Mary’s across the street almost everyday we were there for good food, drinks and met some really nice locals! Da Conch is a short walk down the beach and Grace Bay is close drive. We would definitely stay at Elizabeth’s again!

Outstanding property

The owner Elizabeth was awesome. Appropriate communication and timely responses. The apartment was roomier than what we expected. Beautiful view of the sea off the balcony. The dogs weren’t a problem at all. They keep their distance, and are kind of just part of the neighborhood. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the trip! Many thanks for your hospitality!

Very clean and comfortable

The pro's: The airport is only minutes away and much of the snorkeling, beaches, national park and 2 small grocery stores are just a short drive away. The apartment is so very clean, the rooms are spacious and the available beach chairs, cooler and umbrella to use are a great extra. The balcony looks right onto Mary's kitchen and the ocean very visible behind it. I had my first meal on the island at Mary's Kitchen. It was absolutely fantastic! Whole fish, veggies and potato salad. Elizabeth is very accommodating. She will do your laundry if you need and when we had a late flight, was arranged if we needed/wanted to stay the option was there.The con's: Be aware that Mary's kitchen takes care of 2 dogs, Tequila and Rum. They are outside dogs and will bark very early in the morning and likely follow you down the beach or hang out with you when you sit anywhere in their view. If you don't like dogs, this might not be the place for you. The bar closes around 9:15, but if there are locals it can get kind of loud until closing time. There is an additional restaurant within walking distance, but nothing else. You will need to rent a car. The place is so cute, but be aware that garbage is an issue on the beaches and roads in this area (as well as a lot of other places). I like to walk in the sand in barefeet, but had to be very careful as there is glass in places.To end, I loved the apartment and it being away from the city. Would absolutely stay again if ever back to Turks.

Memorable Vacation

Enjoyed our stay in Turks and Caicos. Accommodations were perfect for us. Beds were comfortable, hot water never ran out, pressure and temperature good, everything was working and in good condition. SUCH A GREAT STAY!

Easy peasy from the start. Quick to answer questions, easy check in, no issues, clean, good amenities and even better than expected. Being so affordable I was pleasantly surprised with how roomy and comfortable the place was. We only used the A/C in the bedroom at night and it kept us cool, and we slept great! Used the beach chairs and cooler most days. We were out exploring everyday and found the island very easy to get around. Just five minutes to the Leeward highway which gets you almost anywhere you'd want to go. Da Conch Shack just up the road made a convenient stop on the way back for a bite or one last drink. The location was quiet and peaceful too. I could probably nit-pick some things but it was way too enjoyable of a stay to do that. We'd stay here again. Just book it.

Stay in apartment in Blue Hills

The property is very well maintained and the owner and host, Elizabeth, was very accommodating. Definitely recommend having a car in order to get around island to the various beaches. Nice local restaurant Mary's Kitchen across the street for a good lunch. Not a resort environment but the cost was reasonable compared to the high prices on the island. Lots of wild dogs in area so if you do not like to be around dogs then this may not be the best place for you.

Wonderful Stay!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. The communication with Elizabeth was fantastic, she checked in on us several times and gave us a recommendation for some local entertainment one night that was spot on! Driving, directions and street signs are a bit challenging but her directions were great and got us there with no issues. The place was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Having the individual A/C units in both bedrooms were ideal. The kitchen/stove/fridge/coffee maker were all as advertised and made eating/cooking at 'home' easy. The beach across the street was fantastic and we spent a couple of days just there instead of driving to other spots on the island. We utilized the kayaks, the beach chairs and the coolers and it was super convenient to have those available to us and made our day trips to other beaches more enjoyable. The local stray dogs were actually not a bother at all, with the exception of a few late nights/ early mornings when they were barking at passerbys. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time and loved our visit. I would highly recommend both the host and the accommodations and would stay here again in the future. Thanks again Elizabeth!

Already rebooked flights!

We loved our stay at Turks and Caicos. We traveled to a different beach each day. Some of the best in the world! The Pelican View was close to everything! And you can’t get any closer to the Conch Shack…We stayed late and danced with the locals. Lodging was so spacious for a family of four. The host was amazing to communicate with. We look forward to staying here again!

The host Ms ET is one of the fabulous hosts you will ever come across.She is so organised from start to end and that reflects in her accomodation too. She is there when you want anything and she is ready to provide any decent request. So thoughtful of her to have provisions in every room and toilet as you would expect [ infact far superior than a 5 star] Very comftable accomodation and ideal for a family too. Safe place to stay just on the beach front and only 10 minutes from the Airport and yet there no sound of any aircrafts. Well informed and always pleasant to speak. Most important is that she trusts you from start to end. She treats you like a family friend and she is very helpful even willing to carry our heavy suitcases. She has a great future ahead.Keep it goin Ms ET !

We rented a car and travelled each day to different beaches , that was perfect comfy, spacious place for us to crash after adventure beach days. Great bonus to have beach chairs , umbrella and beach towels, cooler.will definitely go back.
