Sunrise Ridge Studio

Fantastic property for a getaway for two. The location was terrific. It is centralized on the island which makes driving anywhere easy. The views from the property are amazing as advertised. The property was clean and provided us with all we needed for our week long stay. The host was easy to access and communicated efficiently. I would stay at this property again!

Amazing private location

Fantastic views for sunrise and sunset, above the bug line and cool breezes help the heat, each unit has its own pool! Close private beach. Kitchen and grills allow cooking in. Close yo both ends of the island and all that goes on!

Private and secluded

From booking to stay was just perfect. Beautiful property and super private. 10 minutes to Grace Bay. Pool was perfect touch to stay if you didn’t want to go out. Loved this place.

Great Location - Quiet and Intimate

This was the perfect location for my wife and I as we celebrated her birthday and also our anniversary this month. We enjoyed the views from the panoramic balcony as well as the kitchen and bathroom area. This made our Turks and Caicos trip even better than we expected.

Wonderful Getaway Spot

Property and amazing view is as described! Private, quiet and easy access to Leeward Highway. You can’t walk to the beach but all beaches are a short drive away. Ocean is amazing and hosts were great!

20th Wedding Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful time staying here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary trip. It was private with a beautiful view and very cozy for two people. The location was perfect. Secluded beach down around the corner and easy to get to any location on the Island. We loved the grill where my husband grilled fresh fish as I relaxed in the pool or hammock. We loved our stay with beautiful sunrises and full moon over the carribean. Was a wonderful trip and will recommend this Vrbo to anyone going to the Island.

Quiet and beautiful

We had a lovely 8 day stay at Sunrise Villa! The views were gorgeous catching the sunrises and a portion of the sunsets. Terri was terrific and answered all of our questions. When our flight was canceled on our return day , they went out of their way to help us and extend our stay. There are a couple small beaches nearby which were wonderful swimming areas. Will stay there again when we are in Turks!

Just perfect

My husband and I stayed in the studio. There are 3 villas up the driveway. The main villa has its own driveway and pretty hidden.The cottage is close and sleeps 4. Our studio was perfect for 2. If you have a rowdy crowd at the cottage thats stays in a lot that might be an issue if you want quiet because its pretty close. There is a small separation with some plants.Our neighbors were out early and early to bed so that was perfect for us. View was spectacular and everything listed was accurate. Had a great stay in the studio

The place is just as described would suggest a few things shower head needs to be replaced no good pressure, need a long mirror to look at outfits, lights for back for deck at night and maybe a bigger tv. It’s nice to be away from tourist. The view is beautiful.

Perfect Peace and Beauty

The host communicated quickly and accurately about everything. Checking in was easy as pie, as was checking out. The panoramic view of the sea was breathtaking. The moonrise over the ocean was out of this world! The location was peaceful and quiet. No loud stacks of rooms full of garrulous tourists. Every night we slept with the doors open and the screens in place and heard only nature outside as we felt the wonderful breeze. every morning we awoke to the sounds of the birds. I had always dreamed about visiting Turks and Caicos and it was everything I hoped it would be. The restaurants that were recommended and that we visited were outstanding!

Spectacular views! Not luxury accommodations

We loved the secluded feel of the property and the high elevation. The small beach near by is beautiful! A huge bonus! The outdoor grill area was great and the pool too, we used it often. Unfortunately the patio sectional furniture is worn and uninviting. Panoramic views from inside the villa were lovely however the screens were difficult to operate and the holes let the bugs in at night. Lastly the mattress was a real disappointment, not nearly luxury, we hardly slept. If all these things were upgraded we would love to return for a visit.

Very Pleased

If just you and a partner are going, this place could not be more perfect. It was a fairly close drive to everything, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the entire place was private and quiet. We recommend going to the recommend private beach near the studio. The hosts were amazing – – we somehow cracked the craft on the coffee maker, and they purchased a new one, and dropped it off within a few hours! The studio is remarkably clean with a lot of airflow. We never needed the air conditioner – – the breeze was amazing! There was some construction noise during the day, but no remedy for that. Thank you for a wonderful and most needed vacation. We plan on returning!

Such a beautiful experience

It was an amazing experience. The views in the morning were breath taking. I would 1000000% recommend getting a car rental. I cannot believe if anyone would not opt in getting a car, it is highly needed in Turks. The driving is not bad at all, it is different compared to the U.S. The home itself was amazing, and the pool was very convenient on days it was way too hot. I would recommend a long mirror as there was none. I had the air conditioner on every time we were in the unit, as it gets very very hot. Overall my experience was great. It is perfect for a couple. 10/10.

Sunrise Ridge

There is a reason they call this place Sunrise Ridge. My wife and I booked the studio bungalow on this property for an anniversary trip. We were notified by the owners that there was construction going on at the bungalow, (new terrace and pool) and we were offered a free upgrade to the Villa. What an upgrade indeed! I mean the bungalow would have made us happy enough, but every bit of this property is absolutely amazing. The views are downright stunning, overlooking the Atlantic. I woke up every morning to watch the sun rise, and each was very different. The pool, the outdoor space, the kitchen with the restaurant grade range, the fish/frog pond in the entry way. I just can’t say enough about our stay here. Even with the construction noise we were still in heaven, and when the workers left for the day, it was the most serene environment. This area of the island is quiet and away from all the resorts. Granted we were here in the off season, I can only imagine it remains away from the crowds during season. The owners and property management were also very responsive and helpful during our stay. We would absolutely book another stay at any of the three spaces on the property, and are already planning It for the future. We would give it six stars if we could.

Beautiful Property

This property is in an absolutely beautiful location. Everything mentioned in the listing about the view was accurate. I do feel like guests should be aware of a few things. The breeze that you feel through the screens is minimal to non-existent during the day and the printed guest information warns about charges to be incurred from using the AC unit. It was impossible to be comfortable during the day without the AC on. When we did open the glass doors, the screens didn't fully close without extra attention and any cracks let in mosquitoes and lizards. This property is not luxurious in my opinion. The appliances and furniture are older and not at all modern or upgraded. There were spots on our comforter and the toilet was extremely worn. We were fine with these things and enjoyed our stay, but I do think the details mentioned in the listing are a little misleading.

Needs updating

The location is not ideal if you want to easily access the beaches, the view is spectacular though. The images online are not accurate to what is there; the fans and bedside lamps need updating (the wire of the bedside lamps are frayed and lights flickers often). The main lights also flicker often, leaving concerns about the wiring. There was no working fire alarm inside. The curtains need to be replaced as there was obvious water damage that stained one of them. The shower door was not operating because it had a wheel that was broken on it. The pool is substantially smaller than what it looks in the photo and it is extremely cold (not refreshing cold). There is a lot of construction going on just below the rental; there was an excavator working every day all day, along with the construction of two potential homes taking place. It took away from any peacefulness the view and isolated location could have provided. The screen doors are all old and have holes in each of them and a few don’t close properly. The cottage next door also uses the sun chairs and pool so you don’t have it all to yourself very often.

A 9.5 out of 10 holiday

This was a wonderful holiday which was let down only by a few minor deficiences. The "Cheat Sheet" sent to us well before our arrival was a most comprehensive guide to both the island and the villa. Only 2 things detracted from the excellence of this document: 1. It suggested stopping at the "Lime" cell phone shop on the way to the villa to buy a local phone sim card. Unfortunately, "Lime" became "Flow" several years ago, so the shop could not be found. 2. The "Cheat Sheet" stressed the need for water conservation, but there was no plug in the kitchen sink. On the subject of the kitchen, whilst there was a modern 4 ring hob, the only cooking vessels provided were a very large saucepan without a lid, and 3 frying pans - not ideal. The only other negative feature was that, whilst we were left 2 sets each of bathroom and beach towels for a 2 week stay, the property was not serviced at all during our stay, so there was no change of bed linen. These minor irritants, which could easily and cheaply be rectified, detracted from an otherwise superb stay in Sunrise Ridge Studio. The most outstanding feature was the level of communication from Terri and Alison. Any question we had was very promptly and comprehensively answered in a very friendly and helpful way. The icing on the cake was being allowed to spend the time between our 11am check-out and 4pm departure by the pool at the vacant Villa next door, and use one of the rooms to shower and change. A real game changer for us!
