Okay a few minor things first. The unit is definitely dated - older furniture & appliances, flooring, doors, cabinets, etc.
HOWEVER, they all mean NOTHING when you are constantly reminded of that view! When we first walked in, we were blown away! And for the rest of our week long stay, we kept the living room window-doors completely open so that the patio, and therefore the ocean, was an incredible extension of the apartment!
The location is excellent, with the ability to walk along the beach into town. The best reef for snorkeling is right outside your door. Plus, when we did want to explore the island, we rented a car that they delivered right to our door (and picked up from you too btw). We'd highly recommend spending a day or two at Sapodilla Bay btw, of all the beaches in the world we've been to, it is one of the best!
Leanne & Jamy were excellent to work with and ensured everything was taken care of.
The internet connection was only 5-10 MBps but that was enough for us to work from the patio each day without complaint (hopefully they get 50-150 MBps upload/download speed one day).
The Somewhere restaurant is right on the patio and serves all day (try the fajitas, we had them 5 times in 7 days!).
The IGA is a 20-30 minute walk and part of it is along the highway, which doesn't have a sidewalk, which made it interesting our first time. Definitely doable, however a car or taxi would be better.
Can't wait to come back!
