The Space:
Welcome to Buela's Jungle Cottage
Upstairs in a charming duplex along the shores of Chalk Sound National Park, this jungle cottage is a warm, comfortable home away from home for your Turks & Caicos getaway.
A quick note: Our property is located near the commercial port, which does come with some noise. We provide earplugs and wanted to be upfront about it so you know what to expect.
You'll have a spacious apartment with a private front terrace overlooking the Chalk Sound lagoon — one of the most iconic natural spots in the Caribbean. Inside, the open living area has a Smart TV lounge and a dining table with lagoon views. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook at home whenever you feel like it.
There are two queen bedrooms and a sofa bed, sleeping up to 6 guests comfortably. Both rooms have AC, reading lamps, nightstands, and closet space. Two full bathrooms with stand-in showers round out the space. A travel crib is also available on request.
Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay — two of the most beautiful beaches on the island — are both within easy reach. A handful of great restaurants are also just a short walk away, perfect for nights when you'd rather skip the cooking.

Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the upstairs 2BR apartment in a duplex home and shared access to the driveway and the grounds around the home with the 1BR rental on the ground floor.
The Neighborhood:
Nestled on Chalk Sound Drive, our condominium offers a prime location with stunning views of Chalk Sound National Park, perfect for enjoying vibrant sunsets and sunrises. You're just a short walk from the pristine sands of Sapodilla Bay Beach, and a quick drive to the equally beautiful Taylor Bay Beach (1.9 km). For those seeking more action, Grace Bay, known for its water sports, golf, diverse dining options, and shopping, is a convenient 20-minute drive away. Please note that we are located near the commercial port, and some noise from port operations may be audible, particularly during morning and evening hours. We provide earplugs for your comfort.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy! The property is conveniently located 7.6 km (4.8 miles) from Providenciales International Airport (PLS). While public transport isn't available, we offer free parking on-site for your convenience. We recommend renting a car to explore the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos at your own pace.
Other Things to Note:
Please Read Before Booking - We want to make sure our guests have the best possible experience when staying with us.
- Our property is located near the commercial port, so you may hear noise from port operations, including trucks and machinery. These activities can start as early as 6:30 am and may continue until midnight. But don't worry we provide earplugs to ensure you get a good night sleep. Most guests love the home's location—plus, the beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and friendly atmosphere nearby. However, if you love to sleep in or tend to go to bed very early, this might not be the best fit.
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old to book.
- Guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- Guests might be required to present an official ID at check-in or during the stay.
- If you did not use A i r b n b, a security deposit will be required, refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- No more guests than those listed on the reservation are allowed.
- Guests will need to climb stairs to the upstairs apartment.
- No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home! Drug use and illegal activity on the premises are also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply results in a $300 fine.
- No parties, events, or excessive noise after 11 pm.
- Cleaning service is available at an extra cost. Let us know in advance to book it.
- Please be aware that there are outdoor cameras at the front of the building facing the front side and gate.
- Guests are responsible for damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The loss of the gate remote incurs a penalty of $250 USD.
Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property using a gate code to the entrance gate and a code to the lockbox to access the keys to the apartment. Codes and check-in instructions will be sent to you before your arrival. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week.
