"Our initial welcome at check in could have been a bit more friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was great - the food was a good standard, loads of choice and absolutely fantastic service from the waitress. My only gripe was regarding the parking. For a start it's a sharp turn getting through the barriers and I scuffed the front wing slightly which was annoying. Then the instructions for payment referred to 'day visitors' but not 'overnight visitors' so I didn't know whether to pay at the machine or what, given the amount of notices that warn of tickets! Thankfully I was right not to pay, instead I just needed to give reception my reg number and pay them directly. I'd happily stay here again safe in the knowledge that I know how to navigate the parking!"

"Very spacious and comfortable family room with a beautiful rainforest shower head in a massive shower. We slept very well and felt very at home. We also really enjoyed the spa facilities and swimming pool. It felt like we were on holiday although it was only a 1 night work trip. I would definitely stay again."

"We came in late with a large group and for the price didn't expect much, however, this hotel was one of the best and most convenient of our trip. Right by the airport with great transfer options. They were willing to make food for us even though we were in late, but we just ordered uber eats. The rooms were very comfy, really nice bathrooms. Clean towels and comfortable beds and linens. Absolutely one of my best budget hotel experiences and I've been all over the world! Service was great! Everyone so helpful and kind, even though we were a large group. Even making extra breakfast to make sure we were all fed!! Felt right at home. Breakfast was great!! Excellent options and tasted good. Would highly recommend!!"

"We arrived 2 hours after check in time, the desk was manned with a very helpful gentleman. Unfortunately, two of the lifts were out of order with only one lift working servicing the hotel. We had an executive room, which was clean and tidy upon arrival. We were slightly disappointed that we did not find out that the executive lounge only had food available for two hours throughout the day between the hours of 6-8pm which they called happy hour. However, this is not made clear on thirdparty booking sites, so something to look out for if you book an executive room for access to snacks all day. The young gentleman Amar who tended the executive lounge was very courteous and helpful nothing was too much for him to assist with . The food available at the executive lounge for the happy hours was reasonable this consisted of 2 hot dishes, spring rolls ( which were a little dry) and chicken wings, humus, some vegetable crudités , sandwiches, a small selection of cheeses, pork salami and Turkey ham as well as a bistro salad bowl with olive oil and balsamic. For the items available 24/7 in the executive lounge there were crisps, biscuits, popcorn, and sweeties in jars and some fruit. If I would’ve booked the exec lounge and missed the happy hour 6-8pm , I would’ve been unhappy. Alcohol drinks available 6-8pm with spirits, red white and sparkling wines, becks bottle beer. Also tonics, lemonade cola, sparkling water and water. Once happy hour was done so was alcohol."

Ramada by Wyndham Oxford

"I was charged an additional £5.00 for parking! That would be fine in a town but this hotel is in a motorway service station so I am not even sure it would be possible to get there by any other method. This means that I would count this as false advertising. Ramada would be better off just advertising the room at £5.00 more. It certainly left a bad taste with me. They do say that parking is charged somewhere but they hide it well! Reception area was nice. Shower was cold and heating rattle-y but I was at the end of a long corridor so other rooms might be fine. Room had been very well cleaned imo and bed linen was good quality and spotless. Local staff seemed good but run-down infrastucture and head-office stuff has put me off."
