「Possibly the world’s best hotel! I almost hesitate to write this because it feels as though we’ve discovered gold in a world full of noise and sameness — a true gem I want to keep secret. But the extraordinary people behind this independent hotel deserve every bit of recognition. The hotel is stunning, with breathtaking views and a wonderful location, but what makes it exceptional is the team. Incredibly professional, yet genuinely warm, friendly and engaging. In a world of generic, impersonal...

「Nice, clean hotel with central location.」

「The hotel is well located in a very quiet spot of the historic centre, not much kerb appeal but nicely designed lobby and the rooms are eminently Instagramable and very clean with comfy beds but they lack comfort like no easy chair (just two small poufs) no table or desk, no shelves (bar the mantelpiece) and a microscopic wardrobe. With two suitcases manoeuvring around the room can be very complicated so if you have a lot of luggage you may ask the hotel before you get there or find...

「We loved everything about our stay. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast is amazing and the location is great.」

「We had the loveliest stay here. Lovely room, amazing breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Perfect attention to detail. Would stay here again for sure.」

「This location was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and Rainha beach. The quality of the bed and linens and the attention to detail was impeccable. it was like being in a protected oasis and Marco and the staff were so sweet and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, also very helpful if you’re running up to Sintra or sightseeing. We would highly recommend!」

「We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary. The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!」

「Wie waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service」

「Beautiful hotel, friendly staff! Can’t wait to visit again!」

「We loved our few days in Cascais our room was lovely and overlooked the beach. Our view would have been much better if the Ironman marquee which was getting built at the time of our stay was not right in front of the hotel and our room. Had we known this we probably would not have booked this hotel. We loved the beach towels and basket available to take to the beach. Breakfast was just OK - wish there was more choice.」
