Beach Gardens Resort and Marina

Beach Gardens Resort and Marina

8/10 Good
"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, largely because there are few other options in the area that offer the same combination of a great view and convenient gym access. For context, I travel extensively for work and spend 80+ nights a year in hotels, so I’ve experienced a wide range of properties. One thing this hotel consistently falls short on—and something I consider extremely important—is the shower experience. The water pressure is absolutely terrible. In fact, I struggle to think of another hotel I’ve stayed at where it has been worse. Frequent travellers know that a few basics can make or break a hotel stay: a comfortable bed, a clean room and bathroom, and a good shower. This hotel gets almost all of those things right, which makes the poor water pressure even more frustrating. I enjoy staying here and will likely continue to do so because of the location, view, and amenities, but the shower experience really needs to be addressed. Improving the water pressure would make a significant difference and bring the overall experience much closer to what you’d expect from an otherwise very good property."
