「We had a lovely 2 nights at the Eaton Oak, The bedroom very well equipped with quality toiletries included. The bed very comfy, no air con but large fan provided which worked very well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, with lots of smiles, Ant and Laura exceptional. The food was delicious and hot, spoilt for choice. EV chargers an excellent plus and welcome after a long journey. Will definitely be back.」

「Great hotel 8 miles outside of Cambridge. 12 minutes from the Park and Ride, if you are intending to visit Cambridge. Nice room with good sound proofing and aircon. Even the windows open. Overall we had a great 2 night stay.」

「We wrote to the hotel to give them a chance to discuss our problem, no response. Breakfast was part of our deal, we sat down ordered it, we were not told at any stage there would be a long wait, after an hour we asked, then told a delay, asked how long the server did not come back, people before us still waiting, it could have been another 30 minutes making it at least 1 and a half hours, we were running late as had family commitments, so we had to leave. No one seemed to be in charge or...

「The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. 」

「Very nicely furnished room, well equipped with everything I needed and a few things I didn't. Air conditioning was a bonus in the current heat wave. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Plus it is very convenient for Duxford IWM.」

「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)」

「When you hear the expression you get what you pay for this was this hotel! Nothing drastically wrong with it but it’s dated. Bathroom was very dated. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows lovely though. Parking excellent. Room was very hot but it was during a heat wave ! If you’re looking for a cheap stay it’s perfect, if you’re looking for a luxury stay go somewhere else!」

「Booked 2 rooms 8 months ago for a one night stay due to going to an event early on Sunday morning 19th July 2026. Arrived at reception to check in to be told that they only had one room and that the booking system had allowed over bookings which we were told is quite common ?? A very poor apology from reception so they told us to go over the road to the holiday inn and just give the surname in and they would have a room for the second party.
