"We always love staying at Bucktail when we come up to visit family. The dining room is perfect for Board Game Nights! We make dinners also, just remember while planning that there is not a full stove/oven. There is a hot plate and a large toaster oven (it broils and bakes) that get the job done. Beds are comfy as well and the area is quiet and pretty."

"We had a great stay. It was exactly as described. We enjoyed the private, secluded, quite area. We saw multiple herds of elk, less than a half of mile from the home. McKenzie was very responsive & accommodating. Make sure you have the door lock code and wifi password available before getting there. We did not, and there is no service for a few miles. That was my mistake. I know better. Lol. But once we connected to their wifi, we had no issues. There were some bad storms during our stay, but the wifi never had any connection issues! Thanks for sharing your place with us."

"The cabin was very spacious, especially the living area with plenty of seating. The property was private with preferred outdoor amenities like a fire ring, seating and a grill. The woodstove inside the cabin was a nice touch, also! We saw cow elk making their way through the yard one evening and another evening watched a big buck chasing a couple of doe. Sitting on the porch just listening to the sound of the creek was our favorite part of our stay!"

"Trish, her brother, her husband and her sister law were so welcoming and made you feel like family. The room was super clean and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch and sitting in the living room and enjoying a cup of tea, coffee and hot chocalate. We loved our time there. We didn’t want to leave. "
