「This lovely little cabin was so much more than we expected. It’s a small footprint, but efficiently laid out with plenty of space for everyone to relax. It was clean and comfortable and the manager was easy to contact. The little touches like locally made soaps and fully stocked kitchen (even the stuff to make s’mores) was the gold standard for rentals. We were not there very long, but did get to walk to the creek and spend a little time by the small pond listening to the tree frogs. One thing...

「Let’s start with finding out after we completed check in that the elevator was not operating and our room was on the second floor. Stairwell was filthy. The stairs had something sticky on them. The swimming pool was closed. The side entrance sidewalk had been torn out and replaced with stones, very hard to roll a suitcase over. The breakfast was disappointing. The cinnamon rolls were dried out, the oatmeal was almost a solid clump. Husband said sausage and potatoes were cold and dried out.」

「Our stay here was good. Did not have any major issues. Some things to improve were the shower faucet (was rusty), door seemed to get stuck when closing it.. had to force close. Toilet looked like it was put in crooked, but still worked. Staff was very friendly. Recommended for those looking for short stays.」

「Only thing we enjoyed staying at the B&B was the warm breakfast, very much so. But for health reasons we cook our meals, requiring at least a kitchenette for us to stay at hotels for multiple nights during our trips. Very cleverly made hotel description, with photos depicting as if every room (labeled “deluxe”) had a kitchen, and customer reviews of 10/10, stupefied, if not deceived, us completely.
