「We visited La Tagliata 15 years after, for a second time. Mama Luigi was still a star in the kitchen. The food was delicious as usual. Each and every staff member, (always a family member), was very friendly, very courteous and very helpful. Grazie mille La Tagliata.」

The parking lot is just next to the hotel, which is convenient if you travel by car. You have to take a train to the center of the station. The surrounding environment is not very comfortable. 「It’s a walk from the pier ( if arriving via ferry) to the hotel but there is a complimentary porter service to help carry your luggage. The optional tip given was well earned.The hotel is situated about a less than 10 min walk (some parts are slightly uphill) from the main part of town where all the shops and restaurants are located.
