It was probably the best value for a hotel in Europe I’ve had in a long time. Great space, clean, friendly staff, lovely breakfast (and the breakfast area is also very clean and well designed!). "Lovely building right next to the viking shipping ferry terminal that I was using the following day. Check in was smooth and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was on the top floor. Decor a bit dated but felt that added to the charm of wonderful building. Close to the old harbour and all central attractions Fantastic breakfast. "

"A great location - close to the train station, and many museums, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was varied and substantial. The hotel sauna and pool were very nice. Only quibble re: the use of the sauna. They request going totally nude, but if one wants to have a dip in the pool to cool off, what is wrong with wearing a swim suit inside?"
