This area is the true heart of Southsea, with countless independent restaurants, thrift stores, galleries, and the new Southsea Arts Cinema- a community run endeavor showcasing both independent and wide-release films. Waitrose is mere minutes away, and the Elm Grove/Albert Rd club/bar scene is about 7 minute’s walk.

Travel cot and high chair available to rent in advance via the Marketplace in the guidebook. Please advise if these are required for your stay so we can drop them off at the flat beforehand.
The flat is in the heart of Southsea with a shopping precinct adjacent with high-street shops a Waitrose supermarket, Tesco express, restaurants & Cafes in every direction. The flat is in a building with full time tenants so guests will need to be mindful of this and keep noise to a minimum when in the Flat. A ten minute walk to Southsea seafront.
Most locations are walkable or taxis are plentiful and cheap. We also have Uber. There are frequent buses running nearby. The nearest train station is Fratton which is a 25 min walk, but 4 mins in a taxi. If you are driving - you will require visitor's permits, which can be purchased for £3.60 per vehicle, per day via our Digital Guidebook which is sent prior to your stay. Parking is hit and miss as Portsmouth is a little overcrowded with vehicles but you will find a space on the main road or in one of the nearby side roads.
