Awesome stay among olive trees

This is a wonderful hotel. Check in is efficient and also fun. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with comfortable beds. We also really enjoyed our breakfast experience with eggs cooked to order. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant. There are many funky touches through this property and I imagine would be a lot of fun for a young child to experience. There is also a beautiful outdoor pool and a 3 tiny indoor pools that you get for your self for 30 min if pre-booking ahead of time. The caves near by are must see.

We stayed here to access the national park and the nearby limestone caves which are worth seeing. Signage to the reception at the property could be clearer but it is a prominent building in the small village. Breakfast was very good although the absence of tea / coffee amenities in the room meant you had to access them from a common area at cost (expensive). Room tariff included access to some relaxation pools (3 small pools with different temperatures) which was a good experience although you have to pre-book. Bathroom is not very private as the shower screen is clear glass above the bed - may be an issue for some people. Nice building design and clearly focused on eco- friendly options.

Awesome weekend in couple

It's been a very nice weekend. The hotel is awesome. The food is unbelievable. We had a massage as well. Awesome... The hosts were kind, very nice, and spoke great English or French. One thing to say : the air conditionner makes too much noise. It's a pity for such a quiet place. The first we went in our room, we were annoyed by the ventilation. We had an explanation : there was a cooking training, so the ventilation was at its maximum. And the kitchen ventilation was linked to our room. It's something to change from my point of view :)

Such a beautiful hotel, in the middle of the nature. The staff was amazing since the moment we checked until the very last moment we left. They showed us all the premises, recommended us nice restaurants to go and have a nice meal, let us stay after the check out time to enjoy the pool. The room was gorgeous, modern, clean, amazing! The infinite pool was lovely, with plenty of space betweenness the sofas and chair for people to sunbath. Let’s not forget we stayed at the hotel in the middle of the all COVID situation. The staff handled it very well, the breakfast had to be booked so there was enough room for us to enjoy a lovely buffet in a safe and quiet environment. I will definitely come back!

Sejour d’1 nuit , dans une chambre assez lugubre avec thematique « pieuvre » nous pensions a un hotel simple au milieu de la nature mais non. Les autres chambres etaient a ambiance sado maso nous avons donc eu de la chance. Ensuite un hotel qui a « cooking » dans le nom se doit de servir des repas descend .... seulement un diner a 30€ absolument inmangeable , du plat au dessert. Une honte , un canard trop cuit , une bruschetta a se casser une dent , une « creme de leite » absolument inmangeable sans parler du gateau au chocolat (comment un restaurant peut louper un gateau au chocolat??) Bref c’est presque du racket sachant qu’aucun restaurant se trouve au allentour . Une honte encore une fois . L’exterieur etait super , le service tres sympathique , le wifi assez puissant .

Great experience... the room was great, the dinner/cooking experience is fun, even if you know nothing about cooking. The staff is super-friendly and you feel at home really quickly.

Ein Paradies inmitten der PT nar, geschmackvolles

Ein Paradieshotel, mitten in dem schönen Naturpark Conde dos Aires. Das ganze Hotel ist mit liebevollen Details, und alles sehr geschmackvoll, ausgestattet. Die Zimmer tragen alle einen Titel von einem berühmten Film, sie sind nicht sehe gross, trotzdem fehlt es an nichts.

Anderledes og hyggeligt hotel

Dejligt fredeligt hotel med særpræget indretning. Lækker middag men det var ærgerligt at køkkenet var lukket om søndagen. Der var langt til en nærliggende resturant, så man skulle køre dertil. Det ville vi godt have vidst på forhånd. Men gode cykel og hiking muligheder.

Fabulous hotel

Beautiful surroundings and an extremely relaxed hotel. Loved it. The cookery lesson was fantastic. You were left to your own devices to do as you pleased. They light a fire in the evening and supply blankets for you to use outside, the staff are almost invisible. Bliss.

Some nice visitors in the winter. Great room for children to play. Rooms are ok, the building is very very nice, the place is remote and that is nice. This is not for nightlife, but for enjoying peace and nature. Please - reduce the heating, rooms too hot. The cooking dinner is too expensive.

Two days in peace in nature.

Stayed with family for two nights. Very nice atmosphere, a relaxing place. For Portugal a little expensive. Around there are not many options for dinner, but the ones avaliable are ok. The staff are as relaxed as the place, which means they will take too long to do anything. The building is great, the rooms are great, and the experience is great. The mountains around are also very nice to explore.

Beautiful setting. Everything was perfect!

Everything about this hotel and experience was perfect. From the design of the hotel, the surroundings, and activities, to the staff, and the locals we met during our 'snacks with a local' activity. I loved every minute! Highlights were the cooking class, seeing the local caves, and reading in one of the hammocks.

Première semaine de vacances avec des amis. Hôtel hors du commun ! Très bel établissement, bien pensé, magnifiquement décoré. Chaque chambre avec un thème différent. Personnel formidable, toujours à nos petits soins. Impression de séjourner dans une grande maison familiale et non dans un hôtel anonyme. Que du bonheur !

Not to be missed

An architecturally stunning hotel with amazing design and a close attention to detail. The owner was very warm and professional and all his staff were friendly and kind. Our room was spacious, spotless and fun. The cooking lesson was great fun (thank you Sara!) and the wine lust was very impressive. Breakfast was fantastic and the omelette SO delicious! Pool a little cold but that didn't stop us (so Brirish!). Thank you so much to all the staff that made our stay so enjoyable.

One of a Kind Experience

It is amazing how well the hotel blends in with the environment that it was built on. Extra care was taken to bend around each tree. The cooking experience is very rare. All common areas are lovely and open to the outdoors. The spa area is fantastic. Even when you are sitting the windows are designed to keep you still in contact with nature.
