The house was perfect for our stay in Portland. The location was great! Close to downtown Beaverton - cute shops, coffee cafes, restaurants and bars. We hope to return. Thanks!
We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family. The house was very clean and the decor was stylish and comfortable. We prepared quite a bit of food in the kitchen which was well supplied. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pup and the extra amenities of dog blankets and towels were appreciated. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We were in town for the Portland Marathon, and it ended up being nice to stay a few minutes away from the city. This property had everything we needed, and the yard is really lovely. Peaceful neighborhood, very functional kitchen, comfortable beds, convenient parking. We love traveling with our dogs, and always appreciate properties that support that.
On the day of our arrival the host provided the address and keypad code for entry into the house. The rooms were good size but the beds weren’t too comfy and squeaked some. The linens were somewhat stained which caused pause. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I stayed here in mid-November for a week. The house worked out great for us and our dog. The house has a nice layout. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all connected, making it easy to cook and carry on conversations at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked. The bbq worked great, but it was a little too cold for us to enjoy the nice table and chairs on the back patio. The host was easy to contact and the check-in / check-out was smooth. We will look to stay here again when our travels bring us back to the Beaverton area.
The house is a cozy older home in good condition. The photos of the inside are fairly accurate, but the outdoor area and gate needs a bit of sprucing up. The kitchen was cute and clean, but some little things could use work (barely acceptable toilet paper, lower quality paper towels, etc). There were some ants in the bathroom, but that should be fixable. There were some thoughtful snacks left for guests and the location is quiet and convenient for this area. Great natural light.
We watched the housecleaner dilly dally while waiting to check in (after the allotted time). I couldn't figure out the unique lock situation. Luckily finally figured that out because property manager was slow to respond. Pets are not allowed on the furniture but the throw pillows hid stains on the couch. The trash was overflowing and additional trash was bagged the back yard. I appreciate that the nicest places are not pet friendly but it felt like the pictures are of a shinier version than what we got. I asked for a late checkout and got no response. The house handbook said they could not accommodate late check outs, and yet I was forced to accommodate and late check in?

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Accuracy of online listing Way Off
I'm afraid we did not enjoy our stay. The house is listed as being air conditioned. It was 90 degrees when we arrived in Beaverton - the inside was 80 degrees. The only air conditioning available was two large LOUD through-the-window units in the master bedroom and the dining room, and a noisy fan in the two other bedrooms. We contacted the owner asking about the AC and were told that was it. You cannot check-in till 4pm so it seems someone came over around 2pm and started the units and fan. It NEVER cooled down enough to sleep and the fan was VERY LOUD also preventing sleep. While the neighborhood seems safe and we were able to lock the front door and kitchen door, we never felt secure due to the in-window units which meant two windows were NOT locked while we slept or when we left.
The decor is cute, the sofas are comfy and the TV is very nice. However, it did not meet my expectations for an air conditioned rental.
