The pool was one of the most amazing pools I've been swimming in, and the apartment was beautiful and had three bedrooms and four bathrooms plus two balconys. It was amazing!

We stayed in one of the apartments, was absolutely gorgeous, very spacious ! The location wasn’t great, travelling about 20minutes to get to anything however it was quiet and peaceful! If you are a formula 1 NASCAR fan you will absolutely love everything about this place. I don’t recommend eating on site, prices are high. The pool was amazing, lots of room, shade coverage and chairs provided ! Lots of space to play lawn games!

Front desk was friendly and very helpful. I hit a bit of a snag and they helped me figure it out. It is about 25-30 minutes from the closest thing but we liked being away from everything.

First stay in the Algarve

With regards to the Algarve Race Resort. Our stay for the first day of our vacation was amazing. The people at the resort were helpful and friendly. My wife had a massage at the spa and it was one of the best she’s ever had. a shout out to the dining staff and the front desk was extremely helpful. I would recommend this resort to anyone that is staying in the Algarve area. Thanks for the great service.

The safety box cost separately and its was more or less broken. We could not open it by ourselves at the time of checking out. Oven tray mysteriously desappeared from our appartment during our stay. One of the balcony doors could not been locked. The staff was very nice and friendly. The appartment was great, It was spacious having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen and open livingroom dining, Just wonderful for families. Appartment was very clean. Swiming pool was nicely done and beautiful looking behind the hotel. Good breakfast at the hotel.

The staff were welcoming, the hotel is nice and modern and the hotel restaurant serves good food. However, it is in the middle of nowhere. Staying here will cost you a fortune just to travel and see civilisation. There’s no pavement to walk anywhere and the nearest supermarket is around 25 minutes away. For that reason, I wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend anyone to stay here. You’re better off staying in the heart of Portimao or Albufeira where everything is close by and things are still open at night

We stayed at the apartments. The decor was basic and the kitchen was well equipped and clean. There was no place in the bathroom to put any toiletries or even a hook to hang up anything. There was very little room for hanging clothes in the bedroom. It would have been nice if they had left some cleaning supplies in the kitchen. You had to pay extra for the kitchen to be cleaned but they’re was no dish soap or dishwasher detergent or even a sponge or cloth.

I paid for 2 x 2 bedroom apartments but they gave us 1 x 3 bedroom one instead. And 1 of the 3 bedrooms had no bed!!!! Very disappointed as I did not get what I paid for….

I had high hopes for this property, which clearly was once a nice place—but sadly, it’s now in serious need of attention. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that maintenance has been neglected. The grounds and facilities felt rundown, and the walkway to the pool was in such poor condition it bordered on unsafe. Our check-in experience was frustrating. We were given the wrong room without any explanation, and only after returning to the desk were we told—by the manager—that the staff had “forgotten to mention” our reserved two-bedroom apartment was unavailable. Instead, they tried to pass off a single room. It took a long time to resolve, and the staff’s indifferent attitude didn’t help. The front desk team seemed unfamiliar with their own POS system and insisted on charging us in USD, adding a 5% conversion fee, despite my request to pay in local currency. When I asked about the in-room safe that wasn’t working, I was told there was an extra charge to activate it—something I’ve never encountered before. The shower had visible mold and mildew, and the overall cleanliness was disappointing. There were trash carts overflowing for most of our stay, needing removed. Kids were allowed in the bar area, which felt inappropriate, and the restaurant—while decent—was understaffed and struggled to keep up with demand. Overall, this hotel could be great again with proper investment and training, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Walkway to pool was not installed properly, creating sharp and loose cement.
