"This house is on a small side channel of the North River, with a considerable marsh next to it. It's a quiet peaceful spot with gorgeous sunsets and especially sunrises. It's a ten minute drive or so into the main part of Beaufort. The house is comfortable and clean. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (though no salt--bring your own) and the porch is wonderful for sitting outside and taking in the view. There are a few small maintenance issues that I expect will be fixed very soon. But over all it's just a great place--we have stayed here several times. And personally my favorite thing is sitting on the porch taking pictures of all the interesting birds!"

"This property was no where near the beach. It lis located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is a quick 15 minute ride to the waterfront. Very, very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beaufort is a very cute town."
