Nice community and house. Clean inside and out, kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the beach was really close. Beach access points are just a mile or two away - east or west - but I'd recommend Port St. Joe Peninsula State Park (about a 20 min drive) for the PERFECT beach for families with kids. They have bathrooms! $6 per car to get in the park all day.
Overall, a quiet and family friendly complex.
The basics were provided - a few detergent pods for washer and dishwasher, paper towel roll, sponges, bar soap, etc. BRING TRASH BAGS though! Showers and tubs worked fine (sometimes the shower heads can be terrible, but these were great!), comfy beds, stocked kitchen...
The small town feel was a respite from the typical spring break vacation!
A couple of cons, though:
- no blankets/throws to use in the house
- seating for a maximum of 6 people in the living room (sofa, loveseat, chair)
- no vacuum (we could have used one a few times for kid messes)
- TVs upstairs and down confusing, and dvd player really hard to figure out
- dirty coffee maker
