We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Bella and truly enjoyed our time there. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Bella and Dave were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and had a great experience. We’re very grateful for their hospitality and would absolutely recommend Casa Bella to anyone visiting the area—we’d love to stay here again!

You absolutely must stay here when visiting Sao Miguel. The owners, Bella and Dave, were the most amazing hosts and we could not have been better taken care of for our stay. Everything is clean and organized, breakfast was perfect, and locations allows for an easy walk into the main city center, or to escape to other parts of the island. Thanks you so much for helping make our travel memories Dave and Bella!! You have created an environment that every traveler hopes for.

We have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world and this was TOP NOTCH!! Dave and Bella were welcoming and helpful for local advice. The room was beautiful and so clean ( thank you Simone), great shower, comfortable bed and sheets ( firm, queen size ) and loved the balcony. The biggest hit is the morning coffee and breakfast. Fruit, cheeses, breads, dessert and a specific hot dish each morning, what a treat!! Can eat inside or outside on the lovely patio. Left for daily excursions with a full belly and loads of info. Many nice restaurants within walking distance and a great starting point to venture farther and take in the whole island. We also really appreciated the parking on the property, no need to search for road parking ( although there are quite a few spots out front as well). It’s very quiet, with great air conditioning, which made for a wonderful night’s rest after all the day’s adventures. This is 5 star, look no further!! ☀️

Truly a home away from home. Bela and Dave were fabulous hosts during our stay. Their quaint bed and breakfast is in a great location near wonderful restaurants and close to activities. The homemade breakfasts, made fresh every morning, were a great way to start the day. The rooms are clean, bright and cheery. The onsite parking was a huge perk due to the limited street parking in the city. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. If you are planning a trip to the Azores, make sure you reserve a room here. Bela and Dave go above and beyond to offer travel advice or answer any questions or needs that arise. Such great conversation and laughs had by all.

We stayed at Bella Casa when we were on vacation in Ponta Delgada. Our room and the washroom were immaculately clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had great sleeps during our stay. The rooms were quiet in the evenings with no outside noise. Dave and Bela were such wonderful hosts!! They were helpful in giving us information to travel around the beautiful island of San Miguel. The morning breakfasts were the best that we had during our 3 week vacation in Spain/Portugal. We stayed from a Monday to Saturday and each morning the breakfast was freshly prepared, along with amazing local cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and delicious home made muffins. The location was good as well, it was a simple 20 minute walk to the main port where there were restaurants/bars/groceries/car rentals etc. We would highly recommend staying at Bella Casa with Dave and Bela. Everything was top notch!
