Hotel was quite noisy and water backup was apparent, in the shower and in the toilet. Rooms are small and shower never got hot, only warm.

Bathroom had unfinished drywall above toilet. Hole in ceiling showed exhaust fan was not connected to vent pipe. Never mentioned at check in. Paid twice for room as we incorrectly booked wrong month. Tried to correct mistake w/ minutes. Hotel would not budge. Leonardo never again.

The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is very old and could use some serious updating. However the room was very clean. There is no ac, but this is not uncommon in Ireland.

Very good hotel
Bed was comfortable
Room was spacious and clean
Nice view of river
Great staff
Only complaint I have is that I booked a king bed online and we only got a double bed
Apparently no king beds in this hotel although web site says has king beds
Staff tried to cover it up by saying this is the standard in Europe that a double is a king
Well I have been in Ireland for 9 days and 3 hotels that I stayed in had king beds
No compensation was offered by hotel

"This hotel and its staff were lovely...very clean spacious room...happy staff who were so helpful...we dere late for breakfast and the breakfast staff said not to worry...set a table for us brought croissants and yogurt and tea and toast and couldn't have been more helpful...its only a short walk ..."
