「The property was beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately the pictures online painted a different picture for where the rooms were located on the property. The rooms were beautiful but they were located off the main property which we weren’t aware of. Also the main restaurant was closed during our stay, which we weren’t informed of and that was one of the main reasons we wanted to stay at the property.」

「Very disappointed with our stay at the Drake Motor Inn. Our room wasn’t even in the main hotel—it was in a separate annex that was basically a shipping container converted into a room. The insulation was terrible; you could hear everything, making it far from a relaxing stay. To make things worse, the annex is literally sitting in the parking lot of the restaurant next door. Nothing says “boutique getaway” quite like falling asleep in what feels like a glorified shipping container surrounded...

L’accès direct au West Lake est bien pratique et le Birch est à 7 minutes de marche de la plage de Wellington et une 20taine de minutes de Sanbanos et Picton. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous espérons y retourner!」

Personal check-in to your room, incredible property with so much thought put into every aspect. The views, the food, the professionally trained staff and service, 5 star plus plus!!
