"Great room! It is a mile from the major tourist area, but we utilized Lyft and the parking garages with no problem. Grounds were clean and room was perfect for our weekend. Would def stay again!"

"The staff was very friendly and the hotel was quirky and charming. Two downsides were no elevator so we had to lug our large suitcases upstairs and there’s no coffee makers in the rooms. Other than that it was fine."

"The hotel staff are awesome and helpful. Hotel is centrally located in the pedestrian section of Essex. MTBA parking is only an 8 minute walk and very inexpensive."

"By far our favorite hotel on our Salem to Bar Harbor trip. It was beautifully decorated in nautical themes, convenient to restaurants, the waterfront offered views and great walking area and so close to a neighborhood that felt like a village."

"Not a bad place. A little expensive for the location and how old it is, but I would stay there again. It is in town away from the beach area, which is good or bad depending on what you like, but an easy drive to the beach area and to Interstate 95. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance."
