Peaceful retreat..although a distance

"First, this resort is an hour from Barranquilla..just be aware. Second, no A/C (but fans in the room). Third, TONS of mosquitos at night time. The entrance to the ocean cannot be better! Fabulous. Incredibly peaceful! Owner is beyond kind and gracious. Food was delicious (although the most expensive on our entire trip in,Colombia)."

"Nice little resort right on the water. Several pools around the property. Breakfast was solid. There’s a guard shack as you enter the property to ensure safety. The resort is on the outskirts of Santa Marta and is about a 15-20 min drive into the main part of town. But it was no problem getting around. "
