Definitely the most beautiful Riu property I’ve been to (nicer than Montego Bay and Punta Cana) and the grounds were well maintained. The Fun Squad was lacking however and were worse than both they other two Rius. It felt like they did not even want to be there at times. The night shows were also lacking and felt like the performers needed more practice.

It’s a party. If you are into that, you will love it. The drinks are watered down, I’m guessing because they don’t want things to get out of control when you are day drinking. Premium bar is the real deal, but no atmosphere. Views are wonderful, staff friendly, be prepared for the bottle of wine upsell at dinner. You can ask for house wine, they don’t tell you that. Property is in need of a refresh. There is cracked tile, places that need paint, and not everything in your room will work properly. Bathroom sink area is not well thought out, I’m short and I could barely reach over the sink to brush my teeth because the towel bar is in the way. The Spa is a highlight. It’s expensive but the staff & service is worth it.
