Seclusion

Well where do i begin?! The condo itself is very nice. I had a 2bedrm, living rn, full kitchen and 2 1/2 baths and each rm had a balcony. I arrived on a Sunday bout 5pm and the rm key was left 4 me in a key lock. Now the location.....the location was horrible 4 me. If u have a car or don’t have a problem spending lots of $ on cab fare then great. The location of the condo was bout 40 min from airport and bout 2/3 miles from the main rd. The beach was bout a 10/15 min walk thru beach front properties that u had 2 navigate ur way thru. It cost me $50 rd trip 2 go 2 the closest Walmart which was bout 25 min away and once I saw the set up I made sure I bought enough 2 last me until check out on thrus where I would b off 2 another location 4 a wedding. There was no rm service which was 2 b expected because it’s a condo but if needed u can request it 4 a fee of course. There was no tv in the sense of channels but they did have WiFi which thnx god cause I brought my firestick so I watched all my shows. Check was quick and painless and my $350 deposit was refunded 2 me and I went on2 my next location.

Very spacious apartment in a gated community.

It is a must to rent a car to use this apartment since is a bit far from everything, but is great to have a relaxing spot to go back to after long days in the crowded tourist areas. We had a great time.

Great place...

I really liked this place and would stay again. It is hard to find at night, and a hike to the beach, but if you have a rental, Playa del Carmen is only about 15 minutes away. Disney was great, place was nice but keep in mind food, paper towels, soap and shampoo aren't included.

Walking distance to beach

We had the penthouse ocean view 2 bdrm. the terrace was very nice. However the guest bdrm had a terrible sewer smell the entire time we were there. We tried covering the drains to see if it would help, it did not. The master bedroom had tiny ants everywhere. We were not able to use this bedroom either because of the ants crawling on the bed. One of the air conditioning units was broke and they never came back to fix it. I enjoyed the balconies and the views, not so much the inside.

Spacious and clean and safe!

This penthouse was beautiful! All the amenities you would ask for including AC! Pool was lovely and beautiful views all around! Not to mention there is 24 hour security and it is in a gated community very private and would stay here again!

Great home for a small family vacation. The property is down a dark road and it looks a bit sketchy; even to the cab drivers. But the property as is shows in the pictures

Excellent Stay!

We were really happy with the penthouse. Two room and 3.5 baths were perfect for my family of 5. Staff was helpful. I read the other reviews beforehand and we never had an issue with finding the beach or running out of hot water. The condo and the outstanding top floor patio was just as beautiful as it is in pictures. Highly suggest renting a car if staying in these condos!

Los departamentos son bastante cómodos, cuentan con todo lo que necesitas, definitivamente volvería a hospedarme en Acacia. Se encuentra lejos de cualquier súper o restaurante por lo que de preferencia renten coche. La playa nos tocó sucia por el sargazo y el mar un poco bravo por lo que no pudimos disfrutar ahí (supongo que es cuestión de temporadas), sin embargo te puedes mover a otra de las muchas playas de Cancún o Playa del Carmen. En resumen, bueno, bonito y barato

Peaceful

The place was absolutely amazing if you just want solitude and a nice peaceful relaxing vacation. If you plan to stay at this residence then a rental car is much needed. To find the location downloaded the waze app and typing in the name of the location will give you the exact directions. Disney was exceptional. The beach is not too far of a walk and the Iberostar hotel is an amazing place for meals.

Condition of the Condo

The water heater was too small. The water would go cold on you in the middle of shower. We did not know where the access to beach is until the last day of stay. They oly clean after your stay. But provide good drinking water.

Over priced condos RUSTED UTENSILS.

After 12 times this was by far the worst place that the family has travelled to. Main door to troubled to open it took me 5 minutes which seem like for ever finally got the maid she could not open it either. Finally manager showed me how but it was a struggle always. For a LUXURY advertisement place we give it a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10.

There are better places an cheaper Too far from the beach, in the photos the condos look nice but there not and the pool we have to clean it and there are many thing we not like and also you need a car everywhere it so far

The place was nice, really hard to find it! Taxi driver did not know where it was located. You need a car for sure. This place is in the middle of nothing.

Nice place to relax

This condominium is excellent to have a private and peaceful vacations. Every apartment has plenty of space, but I recommend paying the extra to get a penthouse which also has a terrace with ocean view, bathroom, hammock and relaxing breeze. However, you need to buy food on a supermarket to fill your refrigerator because there are not supermarkets or restaurants close to this location. You can ask the staff to request a taxi to take you to buy food, and you can also ask for food deliveries from restaurants. If you rent a car, it would make everything easier but you can take a taxi if you don't feel like driving. Also, you need to bring money already changed because there are not close places around to do it. You can pay with American dollars, but they won't accept a $100 dollars bill. The beach is like 7 to 8 minutes walk and it is absolutely beautiful. There are two five stars hotels close to Acacia, and we also stayed at Iberostar Paraíso which has a lot of amenities like 8 restaurants, huge pool, tennis courts and shopping center among others. Even though I liked staying at Iberostar which is far more expensive, I would book Acacia once again to relax with friends and family.

No more next time

My condo was on the first floor. There were little bugs everywhere. I told the concierge and she tried to switch me to another condo but it didn't have running hot water. So I stayed and she handed me a mop and a bucket to get rid of the little bugs. Not conducive with kids. And you will definitely need a car if you stay here. Nothing is walking distance and it's pitch black at night.

La verdad, muy bonito el Depto. muy lindo gusto en decoración y ambientación, muy placentera la estancia, y lo que mas nos gustó que admiten pequeñas mascotas. Agradezco mucho que me hayan ofrecido el penthouse, la familia completa disfrutó mucho el hospedaje, valió la pena, y totalmente invitados a regresar y ya lo estamos recomendando con amigos y familiares.
