"Where to start with this place... Honestly, such a hidden gem, set in a very tranquil countryside farm setting. What they've done with the hotel is amazing, a 400+ year old chapel (finca) which has been tastefully renovated and now serves as a beautiful hotel. The receptionist was amazing, welcomed us warmly it was like visiting a family member that you haven't seen for a long time. "Four of us stayed for a week at the Hotel Negresco in August. It's in a very convenient location in Playa de Palma, just across the street from the beach and adjacent to several bus lines going to the city and the airport. The staff members were wonderful: they were always polite, friendly, and helpful, and most were multi-lingual. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was well-maintained. We only had a couple of minor complaints. First, the room air conditioning could not cope with the mid-August weather. We had the temperature set as low as it would go, but the room felt like it was usually around 80°F (27°C). To make it tolerable, we went and bought an inexpensive electric fan at the mall (FAN Mallorca). Second, with the half-board meal plan we purchased, there were no drinks included with dinner, not even water. It's reasonable that alcohol would be an additional expense, but it seemed unreasonable not to have anything to drink included at all. Maybe these are just American expectations, but everyone in our party remarked about the same things. All in all, we did enjoy our stay and would choose this place again."

"I liked this hotel, sooo close to the aiport, a quick bus trip away (9 minutes). They had a spectacular breakfast at only 10 euros, you can use the pool at their sister hotel which is 50 metres away over the road. The air con in the rooms was really good so I could sleep easily at night. An enjoyable stay, I will probably come back."
