" Honestly everything was great once we got there but the service before? Was awful. AWFUL. I wanted to add a guest to my reservation and I could not get in contact with them. I travel a lot and this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I tried to reach out to the hotel 6 times. I called and they answered but once I said “Hello?”, They hung up on me immediately. I then got a friend who spoke Spanish and they continued the conversation. This happened 3 times and refused to help me with my issue. I used the contact form on the website, I emailed them all over a month in advance, and no response. I even asked Expedia for help and they refused to amend my reservation or offer assistance. So when I got there, the lady working did not apologize nor offer kindness or regret about what had happened. Instead she charged us more than we paid for the initial booking and more than the Bahia Del Sol website price for a double room for two people. This would not had been such a hassle for any other hotel I’ve been to. Nor would it have been such a steep fee when the room already held space for two people. I’m thoroughly disappointed especially since it is a beautiful resort. "

"We have just returned from a fantastic stay in El Toro at this lovely apartment. The views are incredible and you have everything you could need within walking distance - beach, restaurants etc. If you want to travel slightly further afield then there is a bus which goes from just outside the apartment block - Santa Ponsa is only 10mins away. Excellent communication with the property owner Peter and we had no issues at all. Thank you for helping us have a lovely family holiday!"
