Credit where credit is due, the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The rooms are very big and from the outside the hotel looks very aesthetically pleasing. However for a 4 star hotel I expect to have a kettle in the room with tea/coffee supplies. Breakfast was lacking variety especially for fruit choices, I expect some fresh melon or pineapple like any other hotel establishment I have stayed in. Air conditioning in the room was not the best either

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Great value for money. Great gym facilities, and lovely pool. The food was standard for a hotel like this, we enjoyed. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. Lili on reception was very friendly and helpful, thank you!

Mycket bra hotell fina bufféer, bra gym ett spa som säkert är kanon, men hela hotellet är ett spa. Mysiga områden att nyttja. Tråkigt att hissen gick sönder två gånger på fjorton dagar, men inga problem att få hjälp med att ta ner väskan från rummet vid avfärd.

I was very disappointed in my stay. Unfortunately from the start to the end. Besides the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet there weren’t many positive things I can say about my stay. Our room needed repairs to the bathroom so our whole stay we had difficulties showering, even after expressing it to staff and asking to be moved. We were told multiple times that they couldn’t move us as rooms available needed repairs as well. We had noisy neighbors who were screaming up and down the hallways and in their room all hours of the night and nothing was done about it. Parking is NOT free, despite saying on our reservation on Expedia it was so we were charged 10.00 night. The only positive thing I can say is the resort is closed to the beach and walking distance from all the local stores.

Honestly everything was great once we got there but the service before? Was awful. AWFUL. I wanted to add a guest to my reservation and I could not get in contact with them. I travel a lot and this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I tried to reach out to the hotel 6 times. I called and they answered but once I said “Hello?”, They hung up on me immediately. I then got a friend who spoke Spanish and they continued the conversation. This happened 3 times and refused to help me with my issue. I used the contact form on the website, I emailed them all over a month in advance, and no response. I even asked Expedia for help and they refused to amend my reservation or offer assistance. So when I got there, the lady working did not apologize nor offer kindness or regret about what had happened. Instead she charged us more than we paid for the initial booking and more than the Bahia Del Sol website price for a double room for two people. This would not had been such a hassle for any other hotel I’ve been to. Nor would it have been such a steep fee when the room already held space for two people. I’m thoroughly disappointed especially since it is a beautiful resort.

The hotel has some good points and some less good points. It was clean and well-maintained. I found the evening meal choice to be varied and generally most nights were good during our stay. The absence of free water with dinner was a little disappointing. Breakfast was decent but some of the food could have been a little hotter e.g. the beans and any vegetable served. The coffee machine was built for speed and not quality. The pool area was good. The hotel gym was also reasonable enough for a week's stay. We also regularly used the Skybar, which had a great view. Rooms were small but comfortable. No soap or a kettle in the room were notable absences. The hotel layout is very confusing and it takes one a while to locate your room and get used to finding everywhere, WiFi was a mixed bag. Some areas it was fine and others it was harder to get a signal. Overall we had a decent stay and with some areas to improve the hotel could be very good.

AC was not working in our room and we were told to just keep the curtains closed. We came back at the end of the day and housekeeping turned off th ac. Our room was hot. The corridors did not have AC either. Parking was too far.

They just dont care that you are a customer

Went to reception the morning of checkout and said I wished to make a complaint about my stay, and outlined the following... - No parking available (it was fuul), even though it states on the website that there is parking and does not say anything about limited availability. Before I even continued on with the rest, Carlos the receptionist (very rude and unpleasant man) started to defend it saying that they have parking and that it was fuul so it was not my fault - it was obvious at this stage that they dont know how to handle complaints. Other issues: - Bed sheets were damp (not really sure why this was) - No hot water for showers in the morning - No heating working in the rooms - Light in main part of room not working - No lights working in the corridor They had no interest in listening to my concerns and just wanted to make excuses... it was like it was my fault - and then the classic comment came; we dont own the hotel, we just work here. Watch out for their reply to this feedback... I bet you they will give excuses and defend it all the way. I'd avoid this hotel if you want to have an enjoyable stay in Santa Ponsa.

Halvtaskig städning. Städade inte balkongen någon gäng! Mycket oljud från fläktar. Fläktar o diskskrammel som studsade i balkongtaket. Nästan omöjligt att sitta på balkongen.
