"Staff at the Royal West Indies are top notch. Make sure to say hello to Sherman who is super friendly, professional and personable. The grounds are well maintained and their beach access is incredible. The resort has plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests. If you prefer a front row spot on the beach I would recommend getting down there early and putting a place holder on some chairs. Most guests do this which I felt was not necessary as again there were plenty of spots unless you want to sit somewhere specific. The pools were really nice and their beach access adults only quite pool was a nice touch. The bar and restaurant on grounds both are really good. We found the chef would send samples of dishes for us to try at no cost. The food quality were excellent. Overall I would highly recommend The Royal West Indies. My wife and I are already planning a trip back. Oh a quick tip. Use Google Maps to navigate around the island as well as getting to the resort. Apple Maps did lead us astray more than once."
