"Broken elevator "

"We stayed for 2 nights in May in a superior room with a sea view (3rd floor). I can honestly say this was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever been in - about 0.5m space around the bed, and the balcony was less than 1m wide. The room faced onto the park with a partial sea view, and there was a rock concert on both nights we were there, which ran until after 11 pm and which the meagre soundproofing offered scant protection against. The hotel had been in email contact prior to our check in and never mentioned this concert was on, despite it starting the day before we arrived and happening every year around this time. The staff weren’t very sympathetic to our complaint and only after writing to management did we get a grudging 10% refund. Would not recommend!!"

"Absolutely stunning views! Wonderful dinner upstairs and breakfast downstairs by the pool. Bargain of the city in my opinion! Will be back. "

"Great hotel to stay for Nice Getaway! Location wise is absolutely perfect- walking distance to main train station (to catch a train to Eze, Monte Carlo or Cannes). Stones throw from all the restaurants and sea literally across the road. I made sure that I book myself a room that is facing courtyard as from my travel experiences in different places I know that street view rooms can get noisy due to pedestrians and traffic. I also made sure that I book Premium room as they newly refurbished with grand new deco and all completely new and stylish. Bed was extremely comfortable (and I'm a fussy sleeper). We had breakfast included (book through Expedia) and it was a great selection of buffet breakfast options. Staff were all polite and professional so all in all have literally O negative things to say. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt!"

"Room was great and we loved sitting on the balcony. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Breakfast was excellent. Fairly easy to get to train and bus, and Uber was easy. Lots of good restaurants all around. Very relaxing stay. Parking is the only wild card. The lot across from the hotel is very accessible and has plenty of spots. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon it was chaos, but spaces were available. We loved our stay"

"Additional charges (ie. coffee, fitness center) excessive for what the nightly fee is. Our room’s shower was broken and not useable unless we held it by hand. The staff was very friendly and the location was great."
