Ok hotel, but it's not in Piran.

The hotel is OK, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, however the hotel is NOT what I was specifically searching for. I had two preferences: A hotel in Piran with breakfast. As we arrived we found that Piran was over 5 kilometers away and that the hotel did not serve breakfast at this location, rather it was in their other complex in Portoroz. There were also very misleading pictures on the website, regarding the standard of the facility. Lastly, a return ticket to Piran by taxi were €40.

Easy, comfortable, low-key stay at the seaside

Right by the sea, low-key hotel (huge room, huge shower), very recently refurbished but keeps some local character. Easy, comfortable, pleasant and good value for money. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel by the laguna

When I arrived at the hotel at 3pm, the reception was closed. There was a notice on the door requesting incoming guest to check-in at their sister hotel 300 metres away - which is a pain. Due to low occupancy, the reception was only manned between 8am and 2pm. Breakfast have to be taken at the other hotel as well. The room was very very spacious and very comfortable. Parking and wifi are free. Not bad after all.

All in all it was a very nice stay. the location is perfect if you want to go to "Beli kriz" (the natural beach in Strunjan and even Piran is a stone through away). Just a pitty that the room was showing towards the street and underneath ist he general terrace where people are sometimes gathering at night, thus it was a bit loud.

Zu diesem Zeitpunkt - ausserhalb der Saison ( Oktober) - war das Restaurant geschlossen. Ich fand aber die Möglichkeit dort zu diesem Zeitpunkt zu nächtigen ganz ideal.
