"Lovely property and we enjoyed our stay, but knowing what we know now, if we returned we would ask for the following: - An upper level room. Ground floor rooms hear every footstep from above and if people are early risers or night owls, you will need earplugs to sleep. - A room with a comfortable couch. Our unit had what I can only describe as outdoor furniture as their lounge suite. It looked great but was very uncomfortable and not a place to relax in the evening. - A room away from restaurant. The noise from diners and the cooking odours were off putting. Otherwise we had a lovely time. The staff were exceptional and the grounds beautiful."

"EV charging is available, but the owner charges you 2/hour to charge in cash just as you are leaving - this was not disclosed on the listing. There is no change given so bring some coins along. Free EV charging is available at Gympie Central (BYO cable - Exploren). Towels and appliances are bit dated but ok for a short getaway. Kayaking on the lake was a nice bonus."

"Everything about the presentation of the apartment was fine, only point of note was we were down stairs and the upstairs unit has wooden floors and sound acoustics were awful for us as there were a couple of young guest upstairs and they were late night & early morning running and jumping making a hell of a racket. No hotels fault they had poor parental controls but it is poor acoustics."

"I didn’t read the small print that rooms were all upstairs. Was very hard for us as seniors to access. Room was lovely and comfortable. Dinner at the dining room was lovely. Noisy neighbours during the night. Probably won’t stay there again as too many negatives for us."
