A modern highway bridge passes nearby, so these days the bridge operates as a novelty. Show up on either side, and the operator will come pick you up! You can also climb the steps and walk across the 54m (180ft) high catwalk.

We have stayed here a couple of times now. First time we stayed we parked in the multi story and our parking was paid for by the hotel. Second we took the train and only an easy 18min walk. "

Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely shower and had good quality towels. People on the Reception desk were very helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage with them before we departed. Self check in and check out was easy and straightforward. Would return to the Clayton Hotel."
