Weekend stay

Room was very hot and no air con Bed was very squeaky every time you moved. And lots of noise from adjoining rooms. Wouldn’t bother with the restaurant - which is overpriced and overrated.

Priory Hotel was a beautiful place. The building and grounds were lovely as were the renovated areas. Our room was a little small, but was decorated nicely. Arriving late, we were unable to enjoy the space as much as we wanted. Only had breakfast at the restaurant, but it was very good.

What a lovely find esp when Cardiff over-priced and poor availability for a big gig at Principality. Easy taxi to train station and frequent trains into Cardiff Central. Hotel itself really special with great staff and very nicely turned-out rooms with local Welsh water and toiletries.

Exceeded expectations, brilliant

Amazing stay that exceeding expectations. Room was amazing, drink on arrival was a lovely touch and staff was great. Wish we’d stayed longer and wish we knew it existed before. A lovely area with some interesting history. Will defo be back, amazing coffee shop around the corner too!

This boutique hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds, great staff, great restaurant, could not recommend more highly. (although a little reluctant to do so in case they do not have a room available when I next visit)

The Priory Hotel was quite a find. This was our first stay in this area and the hotel is in a perfect place to explore south Wales. Everything about the hotel was great - the food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Sitting out on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden with a cool drink was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay.

Very close to the centre of town. Room was quite noisy with an aircon unit immediately outside the window and Saturday night revellers in the outdoor area below.

Great Hotel and Restaurant

Great restful place. A little hard to get to, but worth it. Old priory grounds and building are lovely. The restaurant is outstanding with fresh local items prepared expertly. You pick what is available for the day from a display case. The staff is well trained and helpful. Loved the stay and would love to go back.
