Come and stay in this beautiful 2 King Bedroom, 2 Bath called "Mountain Wonder" that Sleeps 6 with a queen sleeper sofa in Living Room and 2 recliners within 1.5 miles of the Parkway and minutes away from Gatlinburg. Has 2 decks with rockers for viewing the Smoky mountains and Mt Leconte. The cabin is located in the Sherwood Forest Resort.

What you will love about Mountain Wonder:


• Beautiful Views of Mt LeConte and the Smoky Mountains. The pictures give a glimpse of the beautiful vista you will enjoy from the front porch and newly added second story deck (!) with rocking chairs
• Access: Roads to the resort are all wide and paved, easily driven and there is parking for 3 cars.
• Amenities: Whether you would like to play pool, soak in the hot tub, Xbox it up (bring your own Xbox s series games, Halo and Rocket League are provided ), play arcade games, swim or get your calm on, Other amenities include: 2 fireplaces (gas living room fireplace turned on October through March)and electric fireplace in upstairs bedroom), a natural gas grill, (4 smart TVs, wifi, and game room with arcade console. Xbox s series is in game room with Rocket Launcher game downloaded. Two recliners in the living room. A Keurig and regular coffee pot are available.
• Location: You are 3 minutes to the Parkway, accessed at stoplight #10. You are on the south end of the Parkway so you are close to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky National Park
• Safety and security: You are in the popular Sherwood Forest Resort with security gates that are locked at night and security cameras on the gates. A security camera is located near the entry door on the deck of the cabin. This is a neighborhood-style community (not secluded).
• *starter* set of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap provided.
• The cabin: ”Mountain Wonder" will have you wondering why you went on vacation anywhere else with endless breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. Who could go wrong there? It is the perfect location for anyone who wants to getaway from it all. The cabin has two floors with a bed and bath on each floor and a queen sleeper on the main floor great room.

Wonderful

My family and I greatly enjoyed our time at Mountain Wonder! We loved the mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. Another perk was the location to other attractions that we wanted to visit as a family, both in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well as the National Park.

Great cabin

This is a great cabin for couples and families. The views are spectacular and the cabin has big screen tvs in each bedroom. The two recliners are very comfortable and the dinner table is very accommodating. We will be back.

Cozy cabin

The cabin is close to the parkway, yet far enough you don’t hear the traffic noise. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Perfect size for our group of 4.

Jeep Invasion getaway

We love this property! Incredibly conveniently located- minutes from the main road in Pigeon Forge and the entrance to the Smokey National Park as well as Gatlinburg! The views are stunning and the cabin itself is also amazing! Has everything you need. We were in town for the Jeep Invasion and this property was perfect!

The cabin was in a good location with awesome views. The property was clean and cozy. It was decorated for Christmas which we enjoyed. Kitchen was well stocked with your essentials. Only complaint we have was the beds weren’t overly comfortable. Bring your own pillows if you can.

Great cabin

We enjoyed our stay the cabin was clean and well taken care of. The views are just amazing! We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and soaking in the beautiful mountains! The only recommendation I would give is to have curtains in the bedroom on the first floor since cars do drive by at night and you can see headlights in the window. We would stay here again it was extremely family friendly and my two children had fun in the loft area with all the games!

Wonderful Cabin with awesome valley views

We loved this cabin for three nights day. It was very comfortable, very light, well appointed and clean. The views off the porches were amazing. Very easy access to all the activities. The owner gloves to get in early because of an early flight arrival. We will definitely come back.

Great family cabin

Our family with three boys (12, 13, 15) had a wonderful week visiting the area. The boys enjoyed playing pool, retro video games and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. The view from the deck is beautiful. We were able to get groceries delivered from Publix on the night we arrived. I would not hesitate to book again.

Cozy

Cabin was cozy and clean. Views are amazing, but as stated in listing, it is in a neighborhood. There was some construction going on during our visit, but it wasn’t too disruptive. Beds are comfortable, but squeaky. I would recommend going with family, as the privacy throughout the house is not 100% (you can hear all footsteps and noises throughout the house, especially in downstairs bedroom). We would book this cabin again.

Best Thanksgiving Stay

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and had the absolute best time. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. There were still fall leaves on the trees and the view was beautiful as we enjoyed the hot tub every day of our stay. We saw bears walk right below the cabin twice during our stay. The pool table was a hit with our daughters, and we loved the fireplace in the family room. The beds were so comfy but a bit creaky. It did drive my husband nuts by the end, but it is a cabin so creaky stairs, beds, etc are to be expected. Definitely plan on bringing spices for cooking when you come. We read some previous reviews and knew we would want some special things for Thanksgiving, so we came prepared. The cabin was really close to town which made it so easy to get to things, yet the view made you feel like you were far from everything. Overall, the cabin was amazing, and we would definitely stay again. The pictures are very accurate.
