「We stayed at the holiday Inn on New Years Eve which turned out to be a great stopping off point for visiting Cumbria. The facilities and breakfast were great. We would especially like to shout out to the housekeeping staff for their honesty and integrity in handing in some personal property which we inadvertently left in our room. 「Lovely Hotel, we have 3 dogs and we have never been so impressed by the greeting for our dogs. The beds were confortable, the Staff were fantastic, couldent do enough for their guests and their dogs, the breakfast was very good, parking was very good. All in All a great one night stay,we will stay again.」

「Very pleasant hotel with nice staff and all facilities you could expect. The room was perfect, except impossibility to open window for a little fresh air inside the room (air conditioning available though). Parking is big enough to park your car safely next to the hotel. City center and docks are easy to reach by walk (we recommend the docks museum, very interesting and free admission). Huge Tesco and other food corners around the hotel. 」

Absolutely wonderful staff, went above and beyond and lovely to have the chance to pop downstairs and feel welcomed and safe moreover. I'll be coming back as soon as possible. Thank you 」

「As soon as we stepped through the door, it felt like home from home. Clean, modern but with original features. So beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from our window, that overlooked the garden, was just lovely. We cannot wait to stay there again. 」

「We are a family of three who spent two nights in the family room. It was spotless, comfortable, very well presented with good facilities. We had an issue on our first night but the staff did their best to deal with it. Fortunately this was resolved. Breakfast was great, excellent quality and a good selection. We will definitely stay here again.」

「From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! 」

「We stayed at the Premier Inn for a week. The staff is amazing and was always quick to address any questions or things we needed during the stay. The room itself was spacious enough with beautiful vistas for a long stay. The best part was the bed; I got my beauty sleep every night. Breakfast was good if we were staying for two nights, but after that it felt quite monotonous. 」
