「This cute and quaint farmhouse cottage was exactly as described and the perfect home base for our family’s hiking and waterfall exploration getaway. We visited over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed exploring the local area, including Pigsah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, Hendersonville Apple Festival, and Brevard shops and restaurants. The cottage is wonderfully situated to take advantage of the areas natural surroundings. A short 5 minute drive to a five waterfall hike in DuPont forest,...

「We have stayed at some amazing VRBO’s but this place is now at the top of our list. The photos alone make you want to stay here but seeing it in real life is even better. Saw deer and turkey cross the driveway every night. The owners did an incredible job building and furnishing this place!」

「Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!」

「The cabin had everything we needed and was close to everything we planned to do . It was very clean and definitely cozy for my husband and I and our two dogs. We enjoyed seeing deer play in the fields and a squirrel visited the porch to say hi to our dogs who just watched in amazement. The bed was comfortable and plenty of towels and blankets were provided along with toiletries that we may have forgotten . We would recommend this property and would stay again if visiting the area in the future.」

「Great place to stay in Brevard! Clean with a great kitchen, comfortable bed, and great shower. The screened in porch is great for relaxing in the afternoon. Filtered water was a bonus! Carol was a great host, and we would absolutely stay here again!」

「Great location for a quiet place to relax but still close enough to go and eat if you want to. Has comfortable sleeping areas and a nice hottub to relax in. Everything at the property functioned as it is suposed to with modern appliances. Had a great stay to say the least. Great host as well Michelle was very professional gave us all the information that was needed with out be overbearing thank you 」

「We had another amazing stay at the Hideaway this year. This house is immaculate and we felt very much at home here. So close to downtown Brevard, we could walk to grab a coffee in the morning or enjoy some evening drinks as we strolled through the shops. Though we didn't get to take advantage of the fire pit this year, we appreciate that there was wood available for us! The owner is always quick to respond to questions. We have already booked a week for next year! 」
