"If you are coming to Kep and expecting luxury, look somewhere else. Saravoan will provide you exactly what you need for the price you paid. The room is big enough and you really can't beat the view from your own balcony. Some amenities are run down but they do the job. The shower has hot and cold water, the a/c isn't the best there is out there but it does help cool your room to beat the heat. The staff is also amazing, super friendly. Limited in English but their charm and eager to help is there. If you want the best ocean view in Kep, stay in Saravoan."

"I had an amazing stay at Old Cinema Hotel. The room was big and the balcony was so spacious! It is also very close to the riverside and giant durian. The bed was so comfortable, the a/c also works to beat Cambodian heatwaves. The staff was also amazing, they are able to help me book Cathedral Kayak Tour and La Plantation. Bas and his team are just amazing, I wish I could have stayed for more than 2 nights."

"I’d be hard pressed to think of a better stay in Cambodia than this hotel. The facilities were cute and engaging, one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve had in a long time. The staff was simply rockstar level, with full attention to your every need. (Special shoutout to Moom) The complementary breakfast had a very nice selection options and the food was quite delicious. Finally, the restaurant setting, with scenic views of the river, was perfect."

"We had mixed feelings about our stay here. The staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly and caring. The pool was so lovely, great size surrounded by lush greenery. The lounges around the pool looked a bit tired. Our room was okay. Nice outlook but again a bit tired and could do with a bit of maintenance. Breakfast was good with reasonable choices. Could be better by including a barista coffee. It’s in a lovely spot near the river with a nice walk to other areas or a quick tuk tuk. The real let down was the noise from the restaurant next door. Karaoke every night. There should be something more the hotel can do. Whilst it’s not their fault it’s really unfair for the hotel guests."

"If you are looking for a superb location to spend some time with easy access to Kampot town this super. It has a chilled atmosphere and you feel left with plenty of privacy. It is not a 5 star with lifts pool and room service. But for the price I will say you get a good deal. I can recommend it if you are not the fuzzy type."
