「Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.」

「Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. 」

「The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky. 「部屋の手入れが行き届いており建物の古さを感じさせない、駅から徒歩5分以内なのも良い。 チェックイン21時迄とあるが、バーが開いている間は問題ない模様、熱波で鉄道が遅延したので21時半到着となったが問題なくチェックインできた。 夕食提供は従業員の出勤状況に左右されるようなので事前に確認した方が安心。メニューはそこまで豊富でなく、バーガーやツマミがメイン。自分でツマミを持ち込んでお酒だけというのもあり。 緩いのが平気なら快適に過ごせると思う。」
