"This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs toilet that doesn't show up on the description. This is our second time renting it, so need I say more?"

"Lily cottage is quaint and well equipped and very comfortable. A short walk from the ferry, it is convenient to everything.We were disappointed that the beach wasn’t really a beach that we could swim at, but obviously that’s not the house’s fault ;) and we enjoyed most everything else. I highly recommend! "
