"The property is beautiful and so well taken care of. Attention to details with Victorian atmosphere and setting was amazing.
The morning breakfast was delicious and plated beautifully! Would love to return next summer."
"We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. The weather was perfect. We would definitely stay again. "

"The view of the bay from this house, it simply stunning. We loved exploring the beach, grilling dinner on the deck and relaxing in the evenings. The shared bathroom worked for our family, but it could be a little awkward for some groups. Wish there was a dining table, and the living room furniture could use a refresh - very worn sofas were rough on the lower back after awhile. We'd book again - it's a 5 min drive into Rockland. "
"The check in process up until we arrived at the property was seamless. Luckily we arrived early evening because the deadbolt was locked and it took an hour for the team to arrive and let us in. The house is lovely with enough little spaces to have some quiet time if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen items (dishes, pots and pans, utensils). The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of clean bright white towels. The downstairs couch was very comfy and the coordinating chair was comfy for my daughter and I. The bedroom and bathroom shower ceilings were high enough for us, but would not be ok for anyone taller than 5’11’ or 6’. (The showerhead was almost too low for my 5’10” son). The queen bed was very soft (though firmer on one side than the other) - not great if you need a firm mattress but not unbearable.Overall, a great experience if you are looking for something cozy, not in the middle of the downtown but close enough to everything you might need or want to do. Also highly recommend hiking up to Owls Head Lighthouse, catching a sunrise, getting ruckus Donuts (took us 3 tries as they sell out early most days) and the Monhegan boat cruises (we did the puffin and nature one, available seasonally). "
"We rented this house so we could enjoy a vacation with our daughter and her boyfriend, our son and DIL and 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 3 and 18 months. There were plenty of bedrooms and baths for us to all spread out. The 1st floor master and downstairs bathroom are amazing. The other bedrooms and bath I’m told were very comfortable. We did a lot of cooking here and the kitchen was well supplied with essentials. I don’t think the pictures do justice to the sweeping views. I loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the early morning and just let the quiet and calmness, the ocean sounds and smells permeate my entire being…and then the 3 grandchildren wake up, come out and join and create a whole different appreciation and gratitude! I can’t wait to come back, this is one of the better houses I’ve rented mid-coast in 20 years…and I’ve rented a lot!!"
