「We have been staying in the mid coast Maine area for vacation over the last decade and our family agreed that this house in Owl’s Head was the best of all. Every detail has been considered for guests and the house is light-filled, immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect- we saw so much wildlife, kayaked every day, and had fantastic meals just down the road in Rockland (Ada’s is our favorite). Jen is a very responsive and accommodating host. Can we give it 10 stars??」

「We had a wonderful stay at this place. The house is spacious and well-furnished. It's clean, well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and my son was fascinated with the boats going in and out of the harbor. The hosts responded quickly to the few inquiries we had. This place would be great during any season! The one downside was that the fireplace was not working and there is no firepit outside.」

「This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. 」

「We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. 「Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.」
