"Clean, Friendly and Convenient!"

"I stayed here while attending an event in downtown Danville, and the location was extremely convenient, only about a 6 to 7 minute drive. This is not a luxury or vacation style hotel, but it serves its purpose well for short stays. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, and the property was quiet and easy to navigate. The hotel also appeared to offer accessible features, which is important for travelers who need them. The rooms were clean, though they could use some updates, especially the mattresses. That said, the overall convenience made it worth it. The hotel offers a pool, fitness center, free breakfast, a small concession area, and a pet walking area, which was a great bonus since I was traveling with my dog. It is clearly a pet friendly property, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a difference. "This building is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in "Kate's Room" and the bits of history and decor were elegant and deliberate. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. We will, without a doubt, stay at the Shamokin BnB again if we find ourselves in Shamokin."
