Private Cabin w/ Hot Tub • Near Beaches & Trails 30 min from Victoria • King Bed

"Jamie and her husband were wonderful host. The property and house are amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful. Everything in the house is well thought out both inside and out. The hot tub was a nice way to end the evening after a busy day. Metchosin is a great little town. My- Chosen café, pizza and sugar shack in close proximity with great food and snacks. We were lucky enough to go on a weekend and attend the farmers market which was a great place for snacks and fresh fruit and veggies. The house is close to Matheson lake, and Witty's and Alberts lagoon which were great place to spend the afternoon. Our toddler loved the red deck and the little fish pond at the house. For parents traveling with kids it was close proximity to Quarry Park and school park on the way to Matheson lake both a big hit with the toddler. The house and location cannot be beat, we had amazing week and would definitely stay again if given the opportunity."

"The house is dated but spotless. The view is spectacular. Improvements are happening in the large covered seating area next door, but the outdoor kitchen is not yet functional. It will be amazing when it’s done. The driveway in takes you past some unappealing clutter and the house is surrounded by a chain link fence with a gate that you must open and close manually each time you go in or out. The yard was clearly a showpiece at one time. It does need some attention. The house is very well equipped and the bed was comfortable however, you will hear the road traffic, especially during week days. The host lives on the property (perhaps in a trailer) and is very pleasant and quick to respond to queries. We found the tv/electronics complicated - we could not get the tv to work. The wifi is excellent."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful property, spacious suite, and accommodating for our dog. Would definitely stay again. Our two teen girls shared the sofa bed and said it was the most comfortable sofa bed they’ve had. Hosts are very responsive and welcoming."

"Our stay at Seaside Cove in Sooke was nothing short of exceptional!From themoment we arrived, Scott made us feel genuinely welcome with his warmth,hospitality, and attention to detail. It's clear he takes great pride in creating a relaxingand memorable experience for his guests.The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking ocean views was unforgettable, and the peaceful forest setting made it feel like a private sanctuary.One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife all around us. We were delighted to see deer wandering through the property, quail scurrying by, and adorable bunnies hopping about. It added such a special touch to an already magical setting.The serenity of Seaside Cove is something you truly have to experience. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee while taking in the view, listening to the sounds of nature, or simply unwinding after a day of exploring Sooke, every moment felt peaceful and restorative.Thank you, Scott, for your outstanding hospitality and for sharing such a beautiful place with your guests. "Our single concern was that if peopleWere moving around or cleaning or anything upstairs it was very noticeable. I was worried the dog was going to bark! And somehow we didn’t get the notification with the door lock number until after we were in there but that could have been my technology issue! The place was beautifully clean and nicely set up. A little remote maybe. We did a fair amount of driving. But that was ok for us too. We found all we needed."
