"Lucy at reception was fantastic. We had a minor issue with our room which she resolved immediately. Great location. Nice facilities and breakfast was 10/10 Will be back"

"Stayed one night with my Partner. Over all a great stay apart from a couple of little niggles. Firstly the room was so hot which made sleeping troublesome. I think a fan in the room would have helped. Probably should have complained but it was silly o’clock in the morning so just wanted to get into bed. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell so sprayed some deodorant in there to mask it! We was a bit disappointed that a lot of the continental breakfast had ran out. Breakfast is served until 11 and we went to eat at 10.30! I will say though, every member of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again"

"Great location, a literal two minute walk to the beach or the town itself. The room was presented decorative to our 10 year anniversary, compliments to the staff going the extra mile. Overall the room was very good, hygienic and perfect for a place to rest and recover from the days events. Our only minor observation was a faulty shower tap making it difficult to adjust the temperatures of the water and a window that was in a set position. This was challenging as it was a warm evening and we couldn’t open the window anymore than 10inches for a fresh breeze. Would recommend and definitely won’t be the last time we would visit the hotel if we were that way."

"We travelled down the last week in June, a treat from our parents. Lovely hotel . Only fault I found was they did not have many choices, if any for people with food intolerance so we ate our breakfast elsewhere. Other than that was a great base, right in the centre of town 👍"

"Great stay, my room was lovely, staff were friendly and breakfast was really good quality. There is a pub directly opposite and my room faced it so there was a bit of noise and not quite as peaceful as I was hoping. No air con in the rooms probably due to the age but the fan provided was of good quality. Beds really comfy and I got a good nights sleep. Would reccommend"

"Lovely experience from start to finish. Easy check in, parking right by the lodge we'd booked and very peaceful and quiet. No air con in the lodge but we'd taken our own fan, only to find several already there. Lovely seating area outside and whilst we didn't use the self catering facilities everything was there had we needed to. Full size bath next to one of the doubles, and a separate shower room meant plenty of facilities for the six of us, with a twin room spare. We'd booked to use the lodge on a night we were attending an event at Powderham Castle as a group and it was ideal."
