"This hotel is super clean throughout. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and very nice. It’s in a good location, within walking distance to restaurants. The trails are about 10 miles away and easy to find (with a gps). We would definitely stay here again."

"We recently stayed at this Vrbo rental and had a very mixed experience. To start with the positives—the house itself is super cute, very clean, and offers a great view of the lake. It’s clear that some thought went into the presentation, and the setting is definitely a highlight.Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. The hot tub was not properly maintained and had extremely high chlorine levels. After using it, I experienced severe skin irritation and what appeared to be a chlorine burn on my chest. We purchased test strips to confirm, and the readings showed chlorine levels that were far beyond safe limits. I notified the owner and even shared photos, but she dismissed the concern, suggesting I must have sensitive skin and stating that the hot tub is professionally serviced. I continued testing the water daily for five days, and the levels remained unsafe throughout our stay.There were also several maintenance and amenity issues. A corner cupboard door was not attached and fell off immediately upon arrival. The listing advertised a hairdryer, but none was provided. When I contacted the owner, I didn’t receive a response for two days. By that point, I had already purchased one myself, yet she still showed up later to drop one off after the fact.The beds were extremely uncomfortable—one was rock hard, while the other was so soft and uneven that two people couldn’t sleep without rolling into the center. It made getting a good night’s rest nearly impossible. "

"They renovated all of the rooms. The bathroom/sing area is all updated, new beds. It's actually quite nice all around. Note, the breakfast service promptly ends at 9am, no exceptions. "

"We loved the living room with such comfortable sofas and recliners and large, soft blankets to use while watching TV. We relaxed in the hot tub and on the back porch swing. The kitchen and dining room were good, and we were very happy to see there were salt, pepper and flour in the cabinet which saved us having to buy those items. As an older person, I liked the short-step shower with seat. John was very good at getting back to me with an answer to a question we had. "
