10/10 Excellent

"I’m very grateful for this place. First off an amazing well kept clean property. Secondly staff are amazing everyone is very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the ocean view suite and it was amazing. One of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in. House keeping came twice a day!! Onsite food is very good along with the drinks. Pool is clean and well kept. The beach access is amazing. Staff on beach are great. Water is beautiful, they have towels on the beach and at the pool. Overall amazing place would recommend, also other dining options are a 10 minute walk."

"Friendly staff! Hotel was clean and so was the room. Stayed here for work 4 days, so housekeeping was every other day which was good. A/C would only keep the room at 70 degrees but wasn't a big issue. LOTS of shops and restaurants in the area as well. Would most definitely stay here again."

Hotel AKA West Palm

"The AKA is very centrally located for downtown WPB - if you are just a business traveler who will never be in the room this might be a good choice. I have stayed here for work twice, and although the location is very convenient. The AKA feels way more like a dorm than a "elevated" or "luxury" hotel - two words that are used frequently on the website. The rooms have vinyl floors that have seen better days, They look warmer and more wood toned on the website photos but in reality they are grey. Like the rest of the hotel. The rooms have no area rugs (also shown in the images online) which is fine nomally but there is not a single soft surface in these rooms other than the bed, so you feel like you are in an echo chamber. The finishes are all cheap and plasticy and the bathrooms are institutional - with scratchy towels to boot. The housekeeping staff leaves at 5p so if you need anything after then it will not happen. On the positive side the Blind Monk is awesome and the Market is great - the food establishments are about 3 tiers higher than the hotel - as if they are completely mismatched to one another. This is a 3 star hotel not a 4 - the website photos are very deceiving - warm light and sunsets do a lot for a photo. Also note that many of the rooms have kitchens in them that are literally in the room. So if you don't want to sleep with appliances (or get up in the middle of the night to cover the microwave light so you can sleep) then request a non kitchen room."

"My husband and I stayed here for two nights, it was the most beautiful resort we’ve been to in a while, fairly affordable with excellent restaurants & the pool & beach access were amazing. The service by the pool was outstanding. The drinks and food were very good. The amenities were great. I have to say I loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the room, it was better than anything I’ve ever used in my life. When we needed towels, we were able to get them immediately. The only complaint that we had was that the hallway smelled like dog we would open our door to go anywhere and all we smelled was a very strong scent of wet dog. It was nasty and it was there in the whole entire hallway. It did not go away before we left. Very disappointing ! We are dog lovers however, when we go to a hotel, we don’t expect to smell other people’s dogs."

"It is a convenience place to stay a couple of days. The hot water no easy to make it work, no blackout curtains, so expect a bright bedroom but also noisy, you can hear all the cars from the street, if u are obese it’s gonna be challenging to take a shower because the shower room is extremely small, other than that good place, I recommend it"
