Pedro was a great host, but some other staff were less than friendly. Parking very convenient and walkability to Buzios centro and Joao Fernandes beach was good.

"Bucaneiro is centrally located so you can easily walk to downtown to the east and also to Praia do Forno, Praia Brava, and Rocka restaurant. The bathroom is quite small but there was enough space in the room for our luggage. Only 1 person on staff really understood English but he helped us with our bags up to the room and showed us around the property. Bom, começo a avaliar pelo primeiro impacto negativo que sofremos.
Primeiro: A hospedagem não tem estacionamento e no site dizia que tinha. ou seja, fomos enganados. O carro ficou o tempo todo no sol e na rua.
Segundo: viajamos com uma criança de 5 anos, e quando contratamos o local dizia que tinha brinquedoteca. Mas, quando chegamos lá, não tinha. Não tinha nada, nada de parquinho ou...
"O hotel é muito bom. Ficamos em um quarto com uma vista linda pra praia. Local silencioso com acesso à praia pertinho. A trilha pra praia não é muito íngreme nem longa demais, mas é bem esburacada, irregular e cheia de pedras. Tem q ter cuidado. Muito gostoso, o lugar. E a piscina também maravilhosa. Ótimo atendimento e comida. Chuveiro bom. Internet funcionando perfeitamente (ficamos perto do prédio principal). Foi tudo ótimo!"

Spend a relaxed afternoon exploring the charming stores, galleries and cafés of this busy and colorful street, or head to one of the bars here that come alive after dark.
"Really good hotel by the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful, and a decent few facilities including sauna.
Breakfast selection was great too though would run out of certain items if you didn’t get there early enough. Could also do with some less sugary options such a regular yogurt.
Rooms were nice though lacked storage space for a stay of more than a day or two.
It would also help if they have contacts of more than one tour operator. The one suggested wasn’t very responsive or well priced. "
"Fabulous from start to finish. Views are amazing and everything is within walking distance. The steps to access the hotel from the beach are daunting but you get used to it and plan accordingly. Tip: if you are heading towards nearby Ossos Beach for a meal or sunbathing, then just walk on the street from the front of the hotel it’s quick, easy and avoids the steps.
Rooms were lovely and individual. Staff were great and our entire stay felt safe and luxurious. "
"Our AC was broken but they got us into another rook quickly, the breakfast was great, downtown was right near the hotel and had so many options. The people at the hotel are so nice. "
