Since we were looking for a place to stay in July, we searched for a place with an A/C to escape the heat and found this unit. We somehow missed the minor detail that this unit had a 'portable' A/C unit, not central A/C. We showed up during a heat wave, and found it to be 88 degrees inside, and even hotter on the second floor! The portable A/C made only one room semi-bearable, and of the 2 extra fans, one was dead and the other very weak. We were very disappointed at first, but I called management, and they brought 2 brand new fans within a few hours which saved the day! We got the house to cool off that night with the extra air flow and the rest of the week was much better. The trick is, open all the windows up at night with the fans sucking the beautiful mountain air in, then close them all once it starts to warm up and trap the cool air in. If you do that, the portable a/c upstairs keeps it nice all day.
We loved the location, the pools and hot tubs were nice, we played pickleball on the tennis courts, rode bikes along the trails all the way into town, and had a bbq on the deck. The home was a little small, but we spent most of our time outside anyway and ended up having a great time.
